Diversity and Equity - New Words for Racism

Since OD Harris has come to power on the Chandler City Council, signs of Diversity and Equity policies are everywhere.

In a post on the website of the City of Chandler OD Harris seems to say that it is important for his children that a person or persons of their own race are in political power.

This is an argument often made by DEI radicals, i.e. the teacher in the class has to be the same race as the students, or, the doctor treating a patient has to be the same race as the person they are treating.

Most people see this as complete non-sense, but, thanks to OD Harris, the City of Chandler is now pursuing such divisive policies.

Non-Discrimination Ordinance

Regarding the completely unnecessary non-discrimination ordinance OD Harris championed: He and fellow progressive Angel Encinas make it sound as if Chandler was a place that was not open to everyone before.

Nothing could be further from the truth, as Chandler was always open and welcoming to all people, including newcomers.

The new ordinance gives the government one more tool to clamp down on business. One anonymous complaint, an investigation may be started, the targeted business has to pay for and attorney to fight the charges. That’s not business friendly, that’s business unfriendly.

DEI at Chandler PD

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) is a divisive ideology that groups people into oppressors and victims. Notably, the term equity refers not to equal treatment of people, but to unequal treatment in order to force equal outcomes, meaning usually the lowest common denominator.

Police should be tasked with upholding the law, not to play racially and gender divisive politics.

Potholes in Chandler, DEI in QC

Chandler has its fair shares of problems, from numerous potholes, dense traffic, homeless encampments, water, to name but a few.

Instead of tackling these issues, OD finds time to comment on Juneteenth, in Queen Creek.

OD is a Radical Leftist

OD is firmly embedded in the left flank of the Democratic Party. He is allied with Democratic Representative Greg Stanton, Tempe Mayor Corey Woods and Chandler Council members Jane Poston and Angel Encinas.

OD is not a moderate or centrist but a partisan on the left flank of the Democratic Party in the mold of Representatives AOC, Rashida Thlaib or Ilhan Omar.
